Spring is here, and so is Adam, raising awareness for childhood cancer research, promising to shave his head & beard (www.StBaldricks.org) and we support him with our Happy Dollars! Melanie Weiler from KACS home of the Kennett Food Cupboard talked about the need for local properties to house families in need and how 400 families a month are helped by the Food Cupboard.

Longwood Rotary Gala is almost here! Saturday’s (sold out) event is our annual fundraiser that helps area communities directly. Gala proceeds are used strictly for outreach, not for Club operating expenses. Our silent auction will raise the most funds

Super Bowl Sunday!Tonight’s game will decide; an Eagles win will make Teresa do the Polar Plunge, a Patriots win makes our Prez wear Patriots gear; very exciting. May the best team win!!

Lots of laughs at our members-white-elephant- gift exchange in the barn at Northbrook Orchard. We postponed because of the Eagles Football Game, and for good reason!! Super Bowl is next!

Thank you, Chief of Police, Bill Holdsworth, for keeping Kennett Square safe! One of the many good things the Police Department does, is providing a collection-point for Opioid drugs at the Police Station, to keep these drugs off the streets. On a lighter note, Jen successfully led our morning meeting at the HighSchool. Yes, the Eagles Green Chia Pet did grow!
